Murray was in impressive form at Mondello Park this weekend when he competed in the BRDA MSA British Rallycross at the Co. Kildare venue in his self run Peugeot 205.

Kildare's John Whelan tops in Shell V-Power economy run
John Whelan, Naas, Co Kildare, took top spot in this year's Shell V-Power Economy Run. Driving an Audi A4 Cabriolet John managed 50.362 mpg in this most popular of events organised by the MG Car Club. In second place was Dublin's John Tansey driving a BMW 318i. Tansey won the event in 2003.

Clearly O'Kane in Killarney Forestry Rally
The Tyrone crew of Kevin O'Kane and Martin Hanna have won the Bio-Clear 2004 Killarney Forestry Rally, which took place today in counties Kerry, Cork and Limerick. They took the lead after the halfway point in their Subaru Impreza WRC, overhauling the initial leaders, Dermot Kelly and Greg Shinnors, and remained in front for the remainder of the event. The Charleville-Limerick pairing of Kelly and Shinnors went into the final stage eight seconds adrift of the lead, but their efforts to make up the difference came to an abrupt conclusion when they crashed out of the rally on the Mount Eagle test.

Murray takes Back to Back victories in Imola
Dunlop Motorsport Ireland Young Driver of the Year Eoin Murray impressed with two wins at Imola this weekend in the final two rounds of the European Alfa Challenge.

Richard Kearney is Young Racing Driver for the month of July
Richard Kearney from Leighlinbridge, Co Carlow has been selected as Motorsport Ireland’s Young Racing Driver of the Month for July. Richard joins Charlie Donnelly (April), Eoin Murray (May) and Emmett Queenan (June) in the race to scoop the Dunlop Sexton Young Racing Driver of the Year award which carries with it a first prize of €32,000.

Murray Biffed out at Spa
Lady luck did not smile on the Dunlop Motorsport Ireland Young Driver of the Year Eoin Murray racing for team PRS Group as part of the support package for the now legendary Spa 24 Hour race.
